Students of all ages are invited to audition for our award-winning Heartbeat Dance Company which competes at both the regional and national levels in all styles of dance. Competitions offer dancers additional performance opportunities in addition to the benefit of feedback from judges who are professionals in the dance industry. By attending competitions, our dance company students are exposed to the talents of other students, teachers, and choreographers from throughout the country. Competitions can help to develop and accelerate students’ poise, stage presence, and self confidence all while having fun and learning!
Our dance company competes at the Regional, National, and International levels. We have won many awards including Overall High Scores, Choreography Awards, Entertainment Awards, Achievement Awards, Excellence Awards, Sportsmanship Awards, Special Awards, Title Awards, and invitations to National and World dance championships.
Company Students are eligible to be selected for our Invitational Program, which offers students the opportunity to be selected for solos, duets, trios, and special small groups.
At Heartbeat, we encourage our students to work to their fullest potential, and although winning is fun, it isn’t everything. We stress the importance of good sportsmanship, team effort, great work ethic, commitment, and perseverance toward a common goal.
